Annada Shankar Ray

Annada Shankar Ray (1904-2002) was a renowned Bengali poet and essayist, who was the last intellectual of Bengal Renaissance tradition of the nineteenth century. Although he had a free movement in all the branches of literature, but he is well known as a rhyme-writer. A versatile writer, he debuted in Oriya literary at the age of 20.
